DescriptionMan's waistcoat made of pink and silver taffeta shot with silver wefts (so-called "tissue") trimmed with bands of small silver sequins stitched with green silk. Waistcoat is collarless and sleeveless, with 12 worked buttonholes with sequined buttons. Shaped pocket flaps are trimmed with sequins; flaps cover functional linen pockets. Back is made of same silk as front, except for yoke of pink twilled silk. Lined with natural glazed linen. Bottom front skirts faced with silk twill.
