DescriptionChild's cap of orange-rose silk faille overlaid and embroidered with couched metallic cords that form a lattice over the entire cap. Symmetrically arranged on the lattice are flowers and leaves outlined in couched metallic cord. The edge of the cap is bound with a woven tape of metallic cord and linen. The face edge of the cap is trimmed with linen bobbin net lace and a twist of purple and white ribbon tacked on. White silk tie ribbons are not original. Carnation silk lining.
