DescriptionRectangular box with hinged lid covered in leather with decorative brass tacks ornamenting top and front; top and edges of box outlined in brass tacks, top ornamented with incurving corners and scrollwork of brass tacks around brass round bail and rosette handle in center of lid; front has incurving lower corners of brass tacks and swag with "tassels" on front; brass pierced rococo escutcheon on front, center of box. Lined with marbled paper; paper printed maker's label in lid: "Trunks in Nests for Exportation.
