DescriptionOne of pair of white cotton triple tier sleeve ruffles, graduated in size and embroidered with white cotton. Design consists of floral sprigs, meandering flower and leaf vines, eyelet holes and geometric drawn work against a scalloped edge. Small sprigs of flowers are sparsely placed over the unadorned areas of the ruffle above the embroidered edge. Worked primarily in tambour work, shadow darning, and buttonhole stitch. Butted selvage seams.Construction History:
