DescriptionCoat of dark red cut and uncut velvet with small leaf pattern and background design of white vine. Shaped coat with low standing collar, flared skirts laid in fan shaped pleats at hips; deep pockets with flap fastened by 5 covered buttons. Long sleeves; 5" cuff with 5 buttons; red glazed linen lining. Of 18 buttonholes, 10 are cut; 11 fabric covered buttons (probably replacements covered with breeches material) down front.
