DescriptionRectangular document of brocaded silk; rusty-red ground woven in twill weave, brocaded with vertically- meandering lace and flower bands, with sprigs of flowers extending into the solid color ground from the meandering elements. Silk is very light weight. Selvages have corded outer edges, with cream and rust twill inner edges; temple marks are not evident visually.1765-1775
