DescriptionCoat of voided uncut velvet, collarless, 11 button front, self fabric cloth covered buttons, full skirt with buttoned pleat on either side; two front pockets; lined with beige, fine silk satin; outer fabric now beige, originally pink ground with darker bands in lozenge pattern, centering fruit and foliage sprigs in pale green and very pale purple. Innerlinings of plain weave bast, stiffened; and grey woolen under buttons. Flap of lining on buttonhole side.
