DescriptionShort, scalloped apron of cream ribbed silk heavily embellished with multicolor silks, silver and silver-gilt in a design of two gold baskets in the two lower corners, from which grow large flower stems moving toward the center, with a large flower head enclosed in each scallop of the skirt. Pleated with small pleats to very narrow self-fabric band; replaced cotton tape ties. Stitches include satin stitch, couching and chain stitch.Exhibition(s)
