DescriptionMan's sleeveless formal waistcoat with high standing collar, 2 1/4" tall. Waistcoat is made of cream color silk satin, embroidered to shape with silks, couched cord, and applied net in a design of exotic multicolor flowers and fabric drapery, bordered with scalloped and dotted edging against dark ground, concentrated on collar, down fronts, at hem, and pockets; the waistcoat body has scattered sprigs and dots. Buttoned down front with 9 embroidered buttons, 7 functional. Functional pockets beneath curved, peaked pocket flaps. Waistcoat back is cotton, with 3 3/4" vent at center back seam, and is adjustable in fit with two pairs of twill tapes.
