DescriptionMan's sleeveless and collarless waistcoat of brown ribbed silk, trimmed with silver woven tape or galloon. Front has 15 metal thread-covered buttons and 15 buttonholes. Wide galloon encircles fronts of neckline, edges the fronts, and outlines the shaped pocket flaps. Button and buttonholes each outlined with rectangular bordering of narrower metallic galloon. Back of waistcoat is made of the same brown fabric, with center back vent. Front and skirt facings of white silk; lining of white linen. Functional pockets.Construction History:
